“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Education: Capella University-Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

How I work: I work with clients who are trying to make sense of their emotions and behavioral patterns within relationships, and want to understand more about how they show up and function—whether romantic, family, or friendships. Clients often describe my style as supportive, collaborative and direct. I aim to create a safe space where clients feel seen and understood, without pressure to make decisions before they're ready. I welcome those who have been negatively impacted as well as those who feel they are negatively impacting others in relationships.

My approach is integrative, including DBT, ACT, IFS, and attachment theory—rooted in trauma-informed care and based on each individual client's needs. Together, we'll identify and explore your goals for therapy then utilize the tools and interventions that best align with what we discover.

Specialties:  Personal relationship challenges, generational trauma, attachment style, communication difficulties and boundary issues, infidelity recovery/betrayal trauma, C-PTSD or Complex PTSD, addiction/recovery and SUD in relationships, co-parenting, divorce and break up transitions
